Our Mission
The primary mission of C-CAP is to provide “safety net” services for those in our community who need food, clothing, limited financial assistance and help with finding other social services in warren County. C-CAP provides fresh foods as well as long shelf life canned goods and related food products. We are often able to provide fresh and frozen meats donated by local groceries and farmers. We also have a wide variety of high-quality clothes for adults and children for each season. We can often provide bedding and quilts donated by local individuals and organization. Our volunteers are skilled and knowledgeable about other critical referral services for our clients. Our goal is to help our clients become “self-sufficient” as soon as possible.
At the end of 2021 CCAP was locked into a food distribution system that was limited by the COVID protocols and hampered by the food supply chain. Nevertheless, these limitations did not halt CCAP’s ability to get food out. In fact, CCAP increased food amounts distributed even when office hours had been reduced. That is now in the past!
CCAP is now giving out more food than ever to clients at the office and has also opened up several new distribution channels in the county. Our annual distribution levels are now higher that our peak years before the pandemic. In our new facility, just opened in November 2022, we now have additional storage space for food inventory, personal items, household cooking and cleaning products and more clothing.

CCAP also has more room to grow our services and discover innovative ways to provide better services. This expansion of services after the pandemic also requires continuous support from the community in the form of donations, volunteers and empathy for those who need help.
